Officer, Student Records, Registrar's Office

Campus: DigiPen (Singapore)

Job Overview

Supports the Registrar in the daily operation of academic administrative tasks and record keeping.

Responsibilities:

  • Ensure proper record keeping of student files.
  • Verify and record student attendance daily.
  • Provide administrative support to the Faculty for Registrar's Office activities.
  • Assist in organizing Registrar's Office meetings as well as writing the minutes.

Exceptional candidates for this position will have: 

  • Candidate must possess at least a diploma in any field.
  • At least three years working experience.
  • Prior experience in education, quality assurance or related field is an advantage.
  • Attention to details, with excellent organization and communication skills.

Starting Date: Immediate

Officer, Career and Alumni Services

Campus: DigiPen (Singapore)

Job Overview

Serves as the primary point of contact between Industry and the Institution. This position reports to the Manager of Career Services.

Responsibilities:

  • Established links into various industry sectors to find prospective companies with employment opportunities for our interns and graduates
  • Maintain link and contact with alumni
  • Establish and maintain strategic partnerships with new and current partners
  • Oversee and coordinate internship processes
  • Plan and organize career related activities/ events for current students
  • Establish Alumni Club and oversees alumni engagement activities/ clubs
  • Comply to accreditation requirements for documentation
  • Other duties as assigned

Exceptional candidates for this position will have: 

  • Bachelor degree qualification. Preferably with Engineering or Computer Science related background, if not, must demonstrate ability to acquire technical knowledge
  • Entry level candidates who can show that they are self-starters and can learn quickly are also welcome to apply
  • Prior experience in Career Services or job placement position preferred
  • Social Media Savvy (Facebook, LinkedIn)
  • Excellent written and presentation skills

Assistant Professor, Department of Computer Science

Description: Full-time Assistant Professor in Department of Computer Science, DigiPen Institute of Technology Singapore. We expect to make an appointment at the Assistant Professor level, although more senior candidates will also be considered.

Campus: DigiPen (Singapore)

Starting Date: Immediate

Qualifications: Ph.D. (or near completion) or a Masters in Computer Science or a closely related field with research and teaching interests involving interactions between computer science and interactive digital entertainment,  subjects of interest such as computer graphics, real-time rendering and mobile graphics. Candidates are expected to have 4 years of relevant industrial experience. A commitment to teaching excellence and scholarship is also expected.

Responsibilities:   While teaching some combination of the above subjects as determined by the selected candidate's unique synthesis of interests, he/she is also expected to teach introductory computer science courses as required. Other responsibilities include academic advising, undergraduate research advising, curriculum development, institutional service and appropriate scholarly activity.

About DigiPen Institute of Technology Singapore:

DigiPen Institute of Technology Singapore ("the Institute") is a branch campus of DigiPen Institute of Technology in Redmond, Washington. The Institute opened its doors in 2008 at the invitation of Singapore's Economic Development Board (EDB) to help grow the country's interactive digital media industry.
