DigiPen Institute of Technology Singapore welcomes students from all over the world into its vibrant and diverse community. International students (non-Singapore citizens/permanent residents) will find the following information helpful throughout the application, enrollment and matriculation processes. International Applicants

International students must fulfill the following criteria in order to be considered for admission to any of the degree programs at DigiPen Institute of Technology Singapore:

  1. Completed a high school education (e.g., Singapore's GCE 'A' Level, Malaysia's STPM, UEC,  India Standard XII, Indonesia's SMA UAN, Republic of China's GaoKao, Vietnam High School Graduation Certificate, International Baccalaureate, etc)
  2. Other qualifications where applicable (i.e. ACT, IELTS, SAT I, SAT II, TOEFL)
  3. Work experience/Internships
  4. Interview
  5. Proof of Proficiency in the English Language

Application for Student's Pass

All international students are only allowed to study on a full-time basis and are required to obtain a Student's Pass and/or visa from the Singapore Immigration & Checkpoints Authority (ICA).  Singapore Institute of Technology (SIT) shall assist all students to apply for the student passes and/or visa.

Student Accommodation in Singapore

DigiPen Institute of Technology Singapore does not provide accommodation for students. It is the responsibility of the student to make his or her own housing arrangements before the semester begins. The Student Affairs Office can assist international students with this process by providing resources, information, as well as pre-departure advice. If you need assistance in identifying housing options near the campus or need further information on short- or long-term accommodation, please contact the Student Affairs Office.

Work Privileges

DigiPen Institute of Technology Singapore is recognized as an Institute of Higher Learning by ICA. Full time undergraduates of DigiPen Institute of Technology Singapore are allowed to work part-time (up to 16 hours per week) during school term and work full time during vacation.
