Institutional Withdrawal

We strongly recommend speaking with a Student Life and Advising Counselor before withdrawing from the Institute. Voluntary withdrawals may be filed at any point within a trimester.

To officially withdraw from the program, please complete the Institutional Withdrawal form and schedule an appointment with a Student Life and Advising Counselor.

Please contact studentlife.sg@digipen.edu if you need further information on the withdrawal process.

Academic Withdrawal

The Registrar’s Office reviews the academic progress of students at the end of each trimester. Any student failing to meet the conditions and minimum GPA required during an academic warning trimester may be dismissed from the program.

For more information on the satisfactory academic progress requirements and academic warning, please refer to the current Course Catalog.

Administrative Withdrawal

To maintain a matriculated status, you are required to register and attend the compulsory trimesters each academic year.

Failing to register during these mandatory trimesters will result in administrative withdrawal. The Registrar’s Office will notify you if you have not registered within the class registration period. You will be issued with an administrative withdrawal letter if you fail to register by the first day of the trimester.

For further information, please email the Registrar’s Office.
